EPSS

EPSS is a scoring model that predicts the likelihood of a vulnerability being exploited.

EPSS Score

The EPSS model produces a probability score between 0 and 1 (0 and 100%). The higher the score, the greater the probability that a vulnerability will be exploited.

EPSS Percentile

The percentile is used to rank CVE according to their EPSS score. For example, a CVE in the 95th percentile according to its EPSS score is more likely to be exploited than 95% of other CVE. Thus, the percentile is used to compare the EPSS score of a CVE with that of other CVE.

source: https://www.securityfocus.com/bid/24856/info Adobe Flash Player is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker can exploit this issue by tricking an unsuspecting victim into opening a malicious file. A successful exploit will result in the execution of arbitrary attacker-supplied code in the context of the victim running the vulnerable application. Adobe Flash Player 9.0.45.0 and earlier, 8.0.34.0 and earlier, and 7.0.69.0 and earlier are affected. https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb-bin-sploits/-/raw/main/bin-sploits/30288.zip
