CVE-2019-13161 2019-07-12 17h24 +00:00 An issue was discovered in Asterisk Open Source through 13.27.0, 14.x and 15.x through 15.7.2, and 16.x through 16.4.0, and Certified Asterisk through 13.21-cert3. A pointer dereference in chan_sip while handling SDP negotiation allows an attacker to crash Asterisk when handling an SDP answer to an outgoing T.38 re-invite. To exploit this vulnerability an attacker must cause the chan_sip module to send a T.38 re-invite request to them. Upon receipt, the attacker must send an SDP answer containing both a T.38 UDPTL stream and another media stream containing only a codec (which is not permitted according to the chan_sip configuration).

CVE-2018-7284 2018-02-21 23h00 +00:00 A Buffer Overflow issue was discovered in Asterisk through 13.19.1, 14.x through 14.7.5, and 15.x through 15.2.1, and Certified Asterisk through 13.18-cert2. When processing a SUBSCRIBE request, the res_pjsip_pubsub module stores the accepted formats present in the Accept headers of the request. This code did not limit the number of headers it processed, despite having a fixed limit of 32. If more than 32 Accept headers were present, the code would write outside of its memory and cause a crash.

CVE-2018-7286 2018-02-21 23h00 +00:00 An issue was discovered in Asterisk through 13.19.1, 14.x through 14.7.5, and 15.x through 15.2.1, and Certified Asterisk through 13.18-cert2. res_pjsip allows remote authenticated users to crash Asterisk (segmentation fault) by sending a number of SIP INVITE messages on a TCP or TLS connection and then suddenly closing the connection.

CVE-2017-17664 2017-12-13 19h00 +00:00 A Remote Crash issue was discovered in Asterisk Open Source 13.x before 13.18.4, 14.x before 14.7.4, and 15.x before 15.1.4 and Certified Asterisk before 13.13-cert9. Certain compound RTCP packets cause a crash in the RTCP Stack.

CVE-2017-17090 2017-12-01 23h00 +00:00 An issue was discovered in chan_skinny.c in Asterisk Open Source 13.18.2 and older, 14.7.2 and older, and 15.1.2 and older, and Certified Asterisk 13.13-cert7 and older. If the chan_skinny (aka SCCP protocol) channel driver is flooded with certain requests, it can cause the asterisk process to use excessive amounts of virtual memory, eventually causing asterisk to stop processing requests of any kind.

CVE-2017-7617 2017-04-10 12h00 +00:00 Remote code execution can occur in Asterisk Open Source 13.x before 13.14.1 and 14.x before 14.3.1 and Certified Asterisk 13.13 before 13.13-cert3 because of a buffer overflow in a CDR user field, related to X-ClientCode in chan_sip, the CDR dialplan function, and the AMI Monitor action.

CVE-2015-3008 2015-04-10 12h00 +00:00 Asterisk Open Source 1.8 before 1.8.32.3, 11.x before 11.17.1, 12.x before 12.8.2, and 13.x before 13.3.2 and Certified Asterisk 1.8.28 before 1.8.28-cert5, 11.6 before 11.6-cert11, and 13.1 before 13.1-cert2, when registering a SIP TLS device, does not properly handle a null byte in a domain name in the subject's Common Name (CN) field of an X.509 certificate, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof arbitrary SSL servers via a crafted certificate issued by a legitimate Certification Authority.

CVE-2013-7100 2013-12-19 21h00 +00:00 Buffer overflow in the unpacksms16 function in apps/app_sms.c in Asterisk Open Source 1.8.x before 1.8.24.1, 10.x before 10.12.4, and 11.x before 11.6.1; Asterisk with Digiumphones 10.x-digiumphones before 10.12.4-digiumphones; and Certified Asterisk 1.8.x before 1.8.15-cert4 and 11.x before 11.2-cert3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) via a 16-bit SMS message with an odd number of bytes, which triggers an infinite loop.

CVE-2013-5641 2013-09-09 15h00 +00:00 The SIP channel driver (channels/chan_sip.c) in Asterisk Open Source 1.8.17.x through 1.8.22.x, 1.8.23.x before 1.8.23.1, and 11.x before 11.5.1 and Certified Asterisk 1.8.15 before 1.8.15-cert3 and 11.2 before 11.2-cert2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference, segmentation fault, and daemon crash) via an ACK with SDP to a previously terminated channel. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.

CVE-2013-5642 2013-09-09 15h00 +00:00 The SIP channel driver (channels/chan_sip.c) in Asterisk Open Source 1.8.x before 1.8.23.1, 10.x before 10.12.3, and 11.x before 11.5.1; Certified Asterisk 1.8.15 before 1.8.15-cert3 and 11.2 before 11.2-cert2; and Asterisk Digiumphones 10.x-digiumphones before 10.12.3-digiumphones allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference, segmentation fault, and daemon crash) via an invalid SDP that defines a media description before the connection description in a SIP request.
