EPSS

EPSS is a scoring model that predicts the likelihood of a vulnerability being exploited.

EPSS Score

The EPSS model produces a probability score between 0 and 1 (0 and 100%). The higher the score, the greater the probability that a vulnerability will be exploited.

EPSS Percentile

The percentile is used to rank CVE according to their EPSS score. For example, a CVE in the 95th percentile according to its EPSS score is more likely to be exploited than 95% of other CVE. Thus, the percentile is used to compare the EPSS score of a CVE with that of other CVE.

source: https://www.securityfocus.com/bid/2689/info The Catalyst series switch is a scalable, high performance layers 2 and 3 switch manufactured by Cisco Systems. The Catalyst series ranges in size, and is designed for use in organizations sized from small business to large enterprise. A problem with the switch firmware could allow a Denial of Service to legitimate users of network resources. Upon booting the switch with SNMP disabled, the service does not handle normal requests. However, by sending an empty UDP packet to the SNMP port, the switch ceases operating. This problem makes it possible for a remote user to deny service to legitimate users of the switch. https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb-bin-sploits/-/raw/main/bin-sploits/20824.tgz
