Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the HTTP server in Cisco IOS 12.4(23) allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the PATH_INFO to the default URI under (1) level/15/exec/-/ or (2) exec/, a different vulnerability than CVE-2008-3821.

An attacker may leverage these issues to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials. The attacker may also perform cross-site request-forgery attacks on the same scripts and parameters. Other attacks may also be possible. Note that this issue may be related to an issue described in BID 33260 (Cisco IOS HTTP Server Multiple Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities).
